It’s time for a report from the field! The BC Living Lab Perennial Row Crops group has been busy conducting trials and gathering data in the field. The perennial row crop group consists of the BC Blueberry Council, BC Hazelnut Growers Association, BC Cherry Association, BC Fruit Growers’ Association, BC Wine Grape Council, and Raspberry Industry Development Council.
The project is separated into three groups: tree fruits, wine grapes, and blueberries, raspberries & hazelnuts. The tree fruits and wine grapes groups have trial sites in the Okanagan and the blueberries, raspberries & hazelnuts group have trial sites in the Lower Mainland.
